One Monday morning, Daniel didn't want to go to school.
He held his stomach and shouted, “Mummy! I'm seriously sick! I think I'm going to die!”
His mother rushed in. “Oh no! Should I take you to the hospital?”
“No, Mummy! I just need to rest at home,” Daniel replied quickly.
His mother nodded. “Okay, my son. Rest well.”
Daniel smiled and grabbed his phone to play games.
Suddenly, his mother shouted from the kitchen, “Daniel! Your teacher just called. She says there's a surprise test today!”
Daniel jumped up immediately.
“WHAT?! A TEST?!”
He grabbed his schoolbag and ran toward the door.
His mother folded her arms. “Wait a minute. I thought you were dying?”
Daniel froze.
Then he said, “Mummy, the sickness just heard about the test and died first!” 😂😂
His mother laughed so hard that she nearly dropped her spoon.
“Wonderful! Tell your sickness to come back after school!”
