The Girl Who Sold Her Tears

🌙 The Girl Who Sold Her Tears

In a small village lived a girl named Amara who cried every night but smiled every morning.

One day, a strange old woman knocked on her door and said, “I heard you have tears to spare. I will buy them from you.”

Amara laughed. “Who buys tears?”

The woman placed a small golden bottle on the table. “Every tear you shed will become a diamond, but you must never cry again after filling this bottle.”

Amara agreed. She cried into the bottle, and soon it was filled with sparkling diamonds. She became rich, built a beautiful house, and bought everything she had ever dreamed of.

But months later, her mother died, and Amara desperately wanted to cry. She couldn't. Not a single tear came out.

That night, the old woman returned.

“Now you understand,” she said gently. “Your tears were never your weakness. They were proof that your heart was still alive.”

Amara gave back every diamond and begged for her tears.

The woman smiled. “Some things are too precious to sell.”

And for the first time in months, Amara cried—not because she was sad, but because she was grateful to feel again.

Moral: Never trade your humanity for riches. Some of the things you consider weaknesses are the very things that make you human. ❤️
