A story of hurt, betrayal and forgiveness between two cousins, and suicide

Melo and Linda where two cousins who grew up together, they loved each other dearly. Everywhere they went they where always together. Melo would visit Linda every school holidays, they did everything together u could not separate them melo had a crush on a boy called Siya, she was too shy to confront him. So she asked her cousin Linda to tell Siya on her behalf. When Linda cameback she lied to melo that Siya also likes her. One day Siya invited the two gals to an event. Melo was excited and love struck on the day of the event both girls went there but when they reached the place. Siya was ignoring melo and he was dancing with Linda. When the event ended Siya left with Linda,melo was heartbroken and she felt betrayed. Linda and Siya dated for a month and broke up ,melo was forced to pretend to be ohk with the relationship.linda never apologised to melo she acted normal,as if nothing ever happened to her, melo was hurting internally, she had to move on with her life but the friendship between her and the cousin was no longer the same. She started pulling away from her cousin,she no longer visited during school holidays and she stopped calling, after some years the friendship was over two years after the fallout Linda was dating a different guy who was abusive to Linda. One day melo received a call from Linda crying telling her that the boyfriend was abusing her and cheating, all this affected Linda emotionally and physically. Linda started drinking and dropping out of school,she had 3 kids with the guy Linda had a best friend and her name was Celine, Linda was betrayed by Celine and her boyfriend,she found them in bed. She was hurt and committed suicide
