My Life As A Girl From Delta: My Family Struggles, Searching For Job And My Dream To Become A Baker
I did not grow up with a silver spoon. In my family, we are managing. My parents try their best, but sometimes money is not enough. That is why everyone in my house is always searching for job, searching for means to survive. I have seen my family cry, pray, and hustle just to put food on the table.
There were days we had no food, there were days we laughed despite having nothing. Family problem taught me early that life is not easy, especially when you come from a place where you have to work double to get small opportunity.
Right now, I am searching for job. I have submitted CV, I have asked people to help me, I have woken up early to go and look for work. Many times they say "we will call you" but they never call. Sometimes I feel like giving up, but I remember my dream.
My dream is to become a baker.
Since I was small, I love baking. I love the smell of fresh cake, fresh bread. When I see someone baking on TikTok or Instagram, my heart beats fast. I imagine myself in my own small bakery, wearing my apron, baking birthday cakes for people, making small chops for parties, making my mother proud. I want people to taste my cake and say "Who baked this?"
I know it will not be easy. I need money to learn properly, to buy oven, to start small. But I believe one day, God will make it happen. I will open my small bakery in Delta, and my family will no longer struggle.
If you are reading this and you are also searching for job, or you have a dream that looks far - please don't give up. We will make it.
This is my story. I am Endurance
