Chapter 1: The Mysterious Village
Michael was a young journalist who loved discovering strange places. One day, he received information about a village that had disappeared from every modern map.
The village was called Ogbunike.
According to local stories, nobody who entered the village after sunset ever returned.
Michael believed it was just a traditional superstition. He packed his camera, food and recording equipment and travelled there with his friend, Samuel.
When they arrived, they discovered an abandoned village surrounded by thick forest.
There were old houses, broken vehicles and empty market stalls. Surprisingly, some houses still had food on their tables.
It looked as if everyone had disappeared suddenly.
Chapter 2: The Voice in the Night
As darkness approached, Michael heard someone calling his name.
"Michael... Michael..."
He turned around, but nobody was there.
Samuel became frightened and suggested they leave immediately. Suddenly, they noticed a little boy standing beside an old tree.
The boy pointed towards a large building and disappeared.
Inside the building, they discovered hundreds of photographs showing people who had entered the village over many years.
One photograph shocked Michael.
It showed his own grandfather.
A hidden underground room revealed the truth: the village had been abandoned after a criminal organisation used it as a secret base.
The strange voices were recordings used to frighten people away.
But before Michael could escape, armed men surrounded the building.
He and Samuel had to uncover the truth and escape before the criminals destroyed the evidence.
They eventually escaped and published the investigation.
But Michael kept one question in his mind:
Who was the little boy?
