As a student, I don't have time to go out looking for jobs. I needed something I could do right from my bed, with just my phone and data.
These are the 5 apps that are helping me:
1. Lanvars
I write my daily experience here. It costs zero naira to start. If people read, I earn. It also helps me build my name online.
2. Canva
I use it to design simple flyers, business cards, and birthday posters for people. I charge 1,500 per design. All done on my phone.
3. WhatsApp Business
This is my shop. I save all my clients there, I post my services on my status, and people DM me. No need for a website.
4. ChatGPT / Meta AI
When I don't know how to write a caption or a business plan for a client, I ask AI to help me. It makes my work faster.
5. Opay / Palmpay
Where my money enters. I give clients my account number and they pay me instantly.
You don't need all the apps in the world. You just need 2 or 3 that work for you and be consistent.
Which of these apps do you already use? Let me know in the comments.
