CHAPTER ONE: THE STRANGER'S SECRET
Emily was a poor young woman who had always struggled to survive. She never imagined that one ordinary day would change her life forever.
One rainy evening, while returning home, she bumped into a handsome stranger dressed in an expensive black suit.
"I'm sorry," she whispered.
The man looked at her carefully.
"What's your name?" he asked.
"Emily."
He froze.
"Emily? What's your father's name?"

Emily stared at him in confusion.
"Who are you?"
The stranger gave a mysterious smile.
"Someone your family has been hiding from you."
Before Emily could ask another question, he handed her an envelope.
Inside was a photograph of her mother standing beside the stranger.
But the photograph was dated twenty years ago.
Emily's hands began to tremble.
Who was this man? And why did her mother know him?
